Wakin' up is hard to do

...especially with no spinach for a green monster!! Happy Humpday guys! Hope your week is going well so far, I got a lot of productive work done yesterday & I can tell today is going to be a great day!

Yesterday after lunch I had a piece of chocolate that my friend Jo gave me--Beaucoup Berries by Dagoba. It was VERY good!! Thanks Jo! :)

After work, Jo & I took a nice 4 mile walk on the trails and for dinner I made another salade.

With spinach, onion, tomato, celery, shrimp, salmon & balsamic vinaigrette.

We spent last night watching my favorite trashy tv show--Hell's Kitchen. I love Gordon Ramsay and he never disappoints on the entertainment meter! :) I didn't listen to my hypnosis cd for whatever reason last night and I could really tell a big difference. I had a really hard time falling asleep and I kept waking up during the night. I've learned my lesson--my eyes are so sore today! I made a ghetto-frappuccino out of coffee, chocolate whey protein, almond milk, vanilla, cinnamon & ice.

I have been a REALLY busy little bee this matin--I got the kitchen entirely cleaned, including mopping the floor!! It worked out perfectly, the floors got completely dried when I was getting ready for work. Naturally I'm feeling very accomplished and ready to tackle the workday! For munchies, I heated up some homemade sausage and fried two local eggs.

Lovely breakfast!! :) The only thing I want to do right now is take a nap, but I'm going to drink some more ghetto-frappuccino for a boost to get things done at work!! Do you have a trick to get yourself motivated? Upbeat music, relaxing music, complete silence--what works for you?

Giving myself a peptalk and upbeat music seems to work! I also don't let myself back out of whatever plans I set for myself.
