I had a truly awesome weekend, so let me start at the beginning so I don't forget anything!
We went to Huske Hardware, had lots of fun & didn't get to bed until 2am!!! I was mighty tired but totally excited for my weekend, so I got some coffee
She's a really awesome gal and we had a great time together! First we went to a local farmer's market and picked up some heirloom tomatoes.
After walking around a bit, we headed into downtown Richmond to have lunch at the Capital Ale House.
I had some very nice roasted vegetable soup.
And the Pear & Bleu Salad: mixed greens topped with fresh pear, bleu cheese and spiced walnuts with balsamic vinaigrette.
I picked off the croutons. I really loved this salade and gobbled it up! This restaurant was REALLY neat--the bar has ice embedded in it! Isn't that such a cool idea??? The ice helps your drink to stay cold and the bartender doesn't have to wipe down the wet rings left from condensation!I headed back on up the road to meet up with Soly before the concert. We always have a great time when we're together, always full of laughs!! She's never been to Chipotle--her being from L.A. you have no reason to with all those authentic Mexican places! Since we don't have one in Fayetteville, I was so happy when we agreed to go there. Both of us got beef tacos.
Hope you have a good day!!
