Oh so sore!

Good morning! Hope you're having a good day so far. :) I was planning on going for a run this morning but that just didn't happen! The husband woke up at 3am and I was awake for about an hour after that because the cats were all riled up. Jumping on the tv and being total nuisances! I guess that's the job of a cat though, right? :) After sleeping from 4-5am, and somewhere in the middle of hitting the snooze from 5-6am, I decided to not go running. My lower body is VERY SORE from yesterday's Crossfit, so I felt I deserved to sleep a little bit more. I think I'll head over to the trail for walk tonight, it's not going to be as hot as it was yesterday and it'll be good for me to get some cardio in.

I made a green monster for breakfast with: 3 cups spinach, 1 banana, 1/2 cup frozen pineapple, 1/2 cup frozen strawberries, 1 scoop wheatgrass powder, 1 scoop whey protein powder, cinnamon & 2 T coconut oil.

It's very thick and I love how the pineapple really brightens up the heaviness of the wheatgrass. I grabbed a handful of almonds on the way out the door.

Here are a couple of photos from my garden. My gerber daisy hasn't bloomed all year and I was kind of worried about him! Yesterday I was glad to see a nice little flower.
And a teeny tiny little bud from my rose bush.

Now I must tell you about the hypnosis/meditation CD I've been listening to for the past few nights! My friend Christie from Quit Your Diet gave me a copy of "Clearing Emotional Blocks" made by Jennifer Polle. Here's the blurb from Ms. Polle's website:
"Reprogram your subconscious to let go of past experiences, emotions and beliefs that have been keeping you from living your most healthy and happy life. This hypnosis process was originallly developed for clients who were dealing with past trauma or had simply come to believe that they weren't ok, on some deep level. It's become a mainstay for my classes on weight release, and is helpful for just about anyone wanting to feel more confident, self-assured, and at peace in how they approach their life, their relationships, and in how they feel about themselves."
This CD is a sort of prerequisite to the Intuitive Eating CD that I'm interested in listening to, I'm not sure if I'm one of those people that buys into hypnotherapy, but if it works for people then that's great! I'm using this CD as a sort of meditation and way to relieve stress at the end of the day. It's recommended to listen to it before bed and since I started listening on Sunday night, I've had much deeper sleeps and feel more rested during the day. I'll keep y'all updated if I notice any other changes in my waking life that might be because of this CD! :)

So that's that! I've got a staff meeting here in 20 minutes, hope you have a good morning!!
