Mmmmmm bacon!

Good morning!!! How's it going so far? I'm having a great morning, although my rear is extremely sore from spin last night!!! It was a really fun class and I hadn't seen the instructor in a long time since I only go to Crossfit now, so it was good to talk to him. He actually said he was going to check out Crossfit sometime!! Cool, huh?!?! :) Anyway, last night he did these "hover" things where you hover your...ahem...hips? just over the seat of the bike--on very high resistance!! It was ROUGH!!!
I slept like a little baby last night! I listened to my hypnosis/meditation cd and don't remember anything from it, so I guess I fell asleep. But it's all good! They say the brain still absorbs everything even though you're sleeping. I got up just as the husband was leaving for PT and lucky me, there was still some hot water in the kettle so I could have some tea with my breakfast! :)
I really love this tea, if you haven't checked out Republic of Tea, you really should, they have TONS of flavors (both loose and bagged) and a new line of tea specially blended for iced tea. I haven't tried those yet, but if they're anything like the rest of the label, then they're sure to be delightful!! I tinkered around the kitchen this morning, made lunch for the husband, emptied the dishwasher, tidied up a bit, put a roast in the crockpot, made some BACON!!
I ate two pieces of crispy crunchy delicious bacon and made a green monster.

Today's recipe:

3 cups spinach

1 banana

1 cup strawberries

1 cup almond milk

1 scoop CHOCOLATE whey powder

2 cups ice

That pint glass was filled almost three times ;) My coconut oil was still slightly solid, so I skipped that today. For some reason I didn't put in my wheatgrass, I think I wanted to see how the chocolate whey would effect the overall flavor of the shake. Verdict: delicious!!! It's not overpowering chocolately flavor and I'll defo add wheatgrass tomorrow. Well my lovely morning is running out!! The Today Show is almost on, so it's time for me to get ready for work!! Hope you have a lovely day! :)

that tea sounds awesome!

do you use frozen berries in your smoothie or fresh?

I usually use frozen so that I don't have to use ice. But these frozen strawberries are MASSIVE so I had to defrost them, then they were too hot!! I felt like Goldilocks!
