Chicken Soyaki

Dinner turned out great!

I baked the chicken at 350 for 30 minutes

Added three tomatoes from the garden in with my sliced okra, added salt, pepper, Penzey's Tuscan Sunset spice and broiled it for 8 minutes.

A usual complaint with okra is that it turns slimy, but I think broiling it really helps to dry it out. I made a cup of Sleepytime tea

And ate two squares of my dark chocolate sea salt bar.

I'm going to read my book after Seinfeld and get to bed early so I can wake up on time for Crossfit tomorrow. Have a good night! :)

When you were a little one you used get okra when I would braise it and then add it to spaghetti sauce!

I remember that! :) I'll have to get some more okra next time I make spaghetti.

I'm going to try to do the okra in the fridge this way. And you mentioned the okra in spaghetti at the Farmer's Market this weekend! :-)
